We welcome applicants from throughout the world.

Whether you are applying to an undergraduate or graduate program, you'll need to provide certain materials along with your application. These are usually (but not always):

  • English Proficiency test scores
  • Proof of Finances to cover tuition and living expenses
  • Translated copies of your transcripts (if not in English)

Once you've been accepted, you will need to obtain an appropriate visa. We suggest reviewing your visa requirements well in advance so you are prepared when the time comes.

Undergraduate Applicants

Please visit the International section of the Undergraduate Admission section for a detailed list of our application requirements.

Graduate Applicants

Required materials differ by program. We provide English Proficiency requirements in this section. Your next step should be to visit your graduate school admission site for more details.

Non-degree Applicants

Santa Clara University welcomes non-degree international students to apply through our reciprocal exchange programs and our visiting partnership programs.

Resources for International Students
