The Importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
At the Alumni Association, diversity, equity, and inclusion stands at the very core of what we do, who we represent, and who we are. We affirm the value of all members of the Santa Clara University Alumni Family—regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, age or social and economic status—and are enriched by this diverse community.
Below you will find more on our work in this space, as well as tools, University initiatives, and more. Please be sure to visit this site often, as we will continue to update ways to get involved, resources, and most importantly, our continued progress. We are committed to learning, growing and providing opportunities for alumni involvement as we continue on this journey.

Santa Clara University has selected the highly experienced diversity educator and leader to guide and shape the University’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, including its campus culture, programming initiatives, and recruitment and retention of diverse students, faculty, and staff.
Identity-based communities connect Broncos based on their shared cultural, racial, or personal identities. These groups provide alumni of diverse backgrounds a comfortable environment for networking and socializing, as well as opportunities to honor shared heritage and experiences. All who identify or support these groups are welcome to join!
