You are in charge of your academic career.
During your first and second years as a Santa Clara business student, you'll take a common core of liberal arts classes along with your introductory business courses. In your junior and senior years, you'll gain wide-ranging exposure to a common core of six business courses, and begin to specialize in your chosen major. All of this culminates in a Capstone course taken in your senior year.
Choosing Your Major
At the end of your sophomore year, you'll select the major you'd like to pursue. Conversations with your advisor, faculty members, and peers will help you clarify your interests.
You may also talk with corporate representatives at annual campus fairs or travel to business offices arranged by our business clubs.
Utilize the Career Center's self-assessment tools and other resources to help you determine the major that matches your future aspirations.
Use the Undergraduate Bulletin to reference all academic and administrative policies and regulations of the University.
