Bronco Venture Accelerator
Formed by Santa Clara University and its Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the new Bronco Venture Accelerator combines the hands-on learning and growth for founders that traditional accelerators offer with the resources of the Santa Clara community.
We offer our participating founders a beautiful open workspace, funding, coaching, and workshops coupled with a strong and growing mentorship program to create a dynamic environment for startup development. Our advisors, partners, and network of investors connect our teams to the expertise and capital they need to launch and grow.
The Bronco Venture Accelerator is open to any member of the Santa Clara University community, and we are industry-agnostic and stage-agnostic.

Program Overview

Go anywhere from here
The Bronco Venture Accelerator is based on a cohort system where a small, carefully selected set of startup teams will join us for a high-energy, high-commitment drive to grow over a six-month period.
Our first cohort of teams is being recruited now for launch on June17, 2019. This cohort will run through November 2019.
Our Funding and Our Space
Accelerator Funding
This Bronco Venture Accelerator is funded by Santa Clara University and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
We offer each participating team at least $10,000 as a cash grant - founders do not need to give up any equity or take on convertible debt to receive this funding. Founders also do not pay any application fee nor any tuition for our program.

Designated Workspace For Our Cohort Teams
This summer, the Bronco Venture Accelerator's space is on the third floor rotunda of Guadalupe. It's a light filled open space with floor-to-ceiling views of the Santa Clara campus.
Our office consists of designated workspaces for our cohort teams, open workspaces for hot-deskers, an event space, a community kitchen, rooms for private meetings, and access to the Maker Lab for tinkerers.
Our Network
Act With Power
This The Bronco Venture Accelerator is developing a growing team of accomplished advisors and partners who give back to our cohort participants in the form of mentorship as well as legal, financial, and technical resources.
We have access to faculty who are not only preeminent members of the engineering, business, law, and other communities at Santa Clara University, but also often accomplished entrepreneurs in their own right.
Our partnership with campus programs such the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Law School's Entrepreneur's Law Clinic, and the Maker Lab provide teams with an additional interdisciplinary platform of support.

Where possible, part of the programming for the cohort will include perspectives from the Centers of Distinction – ethical entrepreneurship from the Markkula Center, the Jesuit perspective of mindful action toward a greater good from the Ignation Center, and social impact from the Miller Center.
Finally, we are building a large and active network of investors who are invited to advise our cohort and attend our Demo Day at the end of each cohort session.
The highly interactive course will use case studies and experiential sessions to prepare you for directorship and start you on the path to being a sought-after candidate.
