Religious Diversity

Everyone is welcome to participate in Campus Ministry programs and we sincerely hope that you will feel that welcome when you visit us.

You might think that there's not a place for you because you're not Catholic, you identify as LGBTQ, or you have not felt a warm welcome in the religious tradition in which you were raised. We want you to know that there is a place for you. We value the experiences that have brought you to this moment and hope that we can be part of your SCU experience.

  • Understanding the diverse needs of a diverse religious community

This information is provided to faculty, staff, and students as an educational resource for the myriad of religious holy days celebrated by our community. Not only is there information about dates and practices, but we also hope that the information about recommended academic and food accommodations will be valuable to those planning classroom activities and other academic and co-curricular events.

  • Interfaith Dialogue

We offer several opportunities throughout the year for developing relationships with people who believe something different than you. If you want to be in on all of the news and upcoming events, be sure to like our Facebook page.

  • Bible Study and Small Groups

We host a weekly Ecumenical Bible study that is open to all Christians or people who are curious about the Bible. Other groups meet weekly for Bible studies and ongoing faith sharing. If you're not Christian and are looking for a faith sharing community, let us know and we'll work with you to find something that works for you. Look at the calendar on the right for details.
