Director of Assessment
Yan Huang is the Director of Assessment for the School of Education and Counseling Psychology. in this role, she provides assessment design and measurement expertise to ensure that all programs meet accreditation requirements. in addition, she provides program improvement support relevant to the teaching and learning activities of the school. She brings over five years of successful experience in the areas of educational studies, institutional research and survey research.
She holds a Masters degree with additional post-graduate work in Research Methodology and Evaluation from the Ohio university and a Masters degree in Management Science from the Universite de Toulon Var in France. She moved to the bay area in 2010. Most recently, she worked as the Research Specialist in the Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support at Stanford University.
As the mother of a daughter and a son, she enjoys volunteering at local elementary schools. In her leisure time, she loves to read, dance and travel.
