Project-Based Learning for the Next Generation: Blending Active Learning, Technology, and Social Justice

   February 16th - 19th

Santa Clara University will welcome more than 250 scholars, teachers, practitioners, and students from more than 25 countries to the 2018 International Conference on Active and Project-Based Learning. The conference theme is "PBL for the Next Generation: Blending Active Learning, Technology, and Social Justice."

The conference will gather K-12 teachers and students, university faculty, researchers, and students as well as practitioners from health care, engineering, and other industries. Sessions will be held in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Pedro Hernández-Ramos, Associate Professor of Education, is the campus host and one of the co-organizers for the event. We are delighted that Dr. Jennifer Merritt, director of Community-Based Learning in SCU’s Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education, will present the opening keynote address on Friday, February 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Music and Arts Building.
