Proposed research that entails the use of human subjects, laboratory animals, radiological hazards, biohazards, or recombinant DNA must comply with University policies. Please consult the SCU Office of Research Compliance and Integrity web page for more information. If compliance committee approval is needed for a project, then such approval must be obtained before any grant is awarded.

Moran Family Trust Grants support the integration of ethics and social justice into the curriculum for tenured and tenure track faculty and senior lecturers in the College of Arts & Sciences. Contact: Marie Brancati, College of Arts & Sciences.

Center for Science, Technology, and Society offers fellowships and research grants for faculty and students to advance its mission "to promote the use of science and technology to benefit underserved populations worldwide." Grants up to $5000 are available for faculty through several programs, with application deadlines in the fall and winter. For more information click here.
