Password Management with SSO
Need to change your password? Forgot your password? This guide will help you through the password change process.
I know what my password is and want to change it.
Follow this link to access the change password system. You will need to log in with your current SCU Username and password.
I've forgotten my password!
The new Single Sign-On system does not have a self-service password recovery system yet. You can expect one to be in place in a few weeks! In the meantime, if you need assistance recovering your password, please contact the Technology Help Desk located on the first floor of the library, or call us at (408) 554-5700 (x5700 from on campus).
What you’ll need:
To reset your password in person, have your SCU ACCESS card available or a valid photo ID such as a Driver's License. To reset your password over the phone, we will need your full name, Student or Employee ID number, and we will ask you a couple of security questions to verify your identity.
Is this process secure?
Yes! The Technology Help Desk staff will not be able to access your old password, and they will use your ACCESS card and other personal details to verify your identity before changing your password.
