Assistant Director of the Wellness Center

Program Coordinator for Violence Prevention

Katie Bailey was raised in Davis, California. She completed a double major in Psychology and Early Childhood Education at Sonoma State University, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree.  As a student, she was actively involved in student organizations, residence life, and preventative education regarding sexual violence and risk management, learning that knowledge is a catalyst for change. After graduation, Katie traveled to Ohio to pursue a master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. During her graduate studies, she worked in Title IX Compliance as well as work in multiple student conduct offices, learning how to support and empower students so they are able to understand personal responsibility and become productive students and members of society. While completing her degree, Katie began working full-time at The Ohio State University as a Hearing Officer in Student Conduct, continuing her mission to support student education through experiences with the desire of preventing future violations.

Katie is excited to be a Bronco, to continue to learn from the community, and to share with others what she has to offer with the hope of continuing to create positive change.
