"The Mask You Live In" follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America's narrow definition of masculinity. The film will be followed by a facilitated discussion.

Come learn about the Army’s Sexual Harassment Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program from, Major Jason Noble, Director of Military Science at SCU. SHARP aims to eliminate sexual offenses within the Army through cultural change, prevention, intervention, investigation, accountability, advocacy/response, assessment, and training to sustain the All-Volunteer Force.

    Join us April 25th at 6:00pm in the Graham Commons for a panel discussion on Title IX, reporting procedures both on and off campus, and the important role that it plays in combating sexual violence on our campus. We will have panelists from the Office of EEO and Title IX, the Office of Student Life and Women and Gender Studies. We welcome any questions and hope to start an open, inclusive dialogue about this important issue here on campus.

    Sexual Assault Awareness Week with the PHE's

    Throughout the week, events will be held on campus to raise awareness and educate students on different subjects like consent, relationship violence, male assault, and date rape drugs.
  • Monday: Sexual Harassment (Catcalling, Online Harassment)

  • Wednesday: Alcohol and Date Rape Drugs

  • Thursday: Unhealthy Relationships (Dating Violence/Emotional and Physical Abuse)

  • Friday: Being a Survivor (Psychological Effects of Assault on Survivors, Survivor Shaming, How to Help a Survivor, Resources for Survivors)

    Vagina Monologues is a play written by Eve Ensler and is comprised of a variety of episodic stories which focus on the empowerment of women and addresses issues around violence against women as well as positive messaging around body acceptance self-love.
